Business Continuity Management - what does it mean and how do organisations use BCM to identify and respond to a growing range of threats facing their businesses today?

NDI is pleased to announce that industry expert James Royds will be delivering an event focused on BCM on Thursday 26 November 2009 at its office on Orchard Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. This event is free to NDI Members.

James Royds has made a very significant contribution to the growth and development of the Business Continuity industry and is a regular international conference speaker and writer on the subject. He has a highly successful track record in the delivery of strategic, operational and tactical risk management solutions in the public and private sectors and his expertise focuses on designing, developing, integrating and maintaining Operational Resilience programmes.

James’ experience includes all stages in the life-cycle of Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery and Information Assurance. He is a Director and Vice-Chairman of the Business Continuity Institute and a Fellow of both the Chartered Management and the Business Continuity Institutes. James lives in the North East where he is the director of a highly successful lead company engaged in the discipline.

The event will start at 11:00 and conclude at 13:00 with a light buffet and opportunity to network.
