General Sir Richard Dannatt gives his assessment of UK defence experience from the Cold War to the present.
GENERAL SIR RICHARD DANNATT GCB CBE MC, Chief of The General Staff 2006-9; HM Constable of The Tower of London discusses the challenges for UK defence in the next decade
He goes on to discuss the impact of current operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, identifies the major issues he believes must be addressed and sets out his views on future defence policy and equipment.
