CONFIRMATION OF DEFENCE MINISTER POSITIONS

The full line-up of titles and responsibilities of each defence minister has now been finalised.
This is confirmed as follows:
- Dr Liam Fox (Conservative) has been appointed as the new Secretary of State for Defence.
- Nick Harvey (Liberal Democrat) has been confirmed as the new Minister of State for the Armed Forces.
- Conservative MP Gerald Howarth has been confirmed as Minister for International Security Strategy.
- Andrew Robathan (Conservative) has been confirmed as Minister for Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans.
- Lord Astor (Conservative) has been confirmed as Under Secretary of State and the Lords spokesman on Defence.
- Peter Luff MP (Conservative) has been confirmed as Minister for Defence Equipment, Support and Technology.
