BITWISE GAINS ISO 27001 ACCREDITATION

BitWise Group in the UK has attained IS0/IEC 27001:2005 accreditation for it’s Information Security Management System (ISMS).   The software services company chose the ISO 27001 standard because it is gaining visibility and adoption in several of the company’s key markets.

In order to achieve the accreditation BitWise had to demonstrate that it had the infrastructure and procedures in place to securely store and access all data held by the company on it’s ISMS.  The company was audited by LRQA and at the same time achieved an update to their existing Quality Management System accreditation to the latest ISO 9001-2008 version.
